On Sunday, August 24, 2025, the Coverity on Polaris SaaS production systems will be upgraded to version 2025.6.1 during a scheduled maintenance window of 9am to 3pm Eastern Time.
What’s new? - Support for Coverity version 2025.6.2 with the following updates: - Fix for regression which was impacting C/C++ capture for MSVC compilers. - Coverity on Polaris 2025.6.x does not have AIX support this release but will return in 2025.9.0 . If AIX support is needed, do not update to upgrade Coverity 2025.6.0 and wait to upgrade until the next release. - IMPORTANT NOTE: Please see below for important information related to the next release 2025.9.0: - With the release of 2025.9.0, Coverity on Polaris will be updating backend APIs for the reporting platform () to convert any SOAP Coverity-related APIs to REST. This update will impact functionality in the reporting platform which will require user action. - Customers using the reporting platform to run reports against Coverity on-prem issues must plan to do the following (1) upgrade Coverity 2025.6.0 or newer (2) upgrade the Coverity on-prem CIM agent to 2025.9.0 - There will be no impact to existing data. However, if not upgraded, the CIM agent will not be able to push new data to the reporting platform
